Hi there,
I’m currently seeking a safe, stable place to park my small 14' Casita trailer while I continue my job search and work toward getting back on my feet. I was laid off from my tech job shortly before the Southern California wildfires hit, and had to flee Los Angeles due to serious smoke inhalation and unsafe conditions. Since then, I’ve been living in the trailer with my sweet rescue dog, Phife, doing everything I can to stay afloat — including farm work, construction, and even roofing jobs along the way.
It’s been a humbling and meaningful chapter — but not without its challenges — and I’m now in real need of a quiet place to settle and focus fully on rebuilding. Ideally, I’m hoping to find a level spot with:
Access to running water for basic hygiene and sanitation
Some electricity access — enough to run a small electric cooler, occasionally power a fan or AC unit, and charge the trailer battery
I’m a quiet, respectful woman in my 30s doing everything I can to regain stability, though the process has been slower than I hoped. My income is very limited at the moment, but I’d be happy to discuss what may be possible. My main focus is returning to full-time work and building a sustainable future, though I’m open to lightly helping around the property if it’s a good fit.
If you or someone you know might have a little space to share — even for a while — it would mean the world.
Warmly,
Emily
