Professional married couple seeking in-law unit, cottage or a room in a one/two bedroom house in Fairfax.
Both are conscientious, mature, responsible, neat, financially stable, hardworking people. We have no pets, don't drink or do drugs. We mediate and live pretty simply. I am a spiritual teacher and a trauma therapist and my wife is a horse and human body-worker. We're easy to get along with and don't have any drama going on. We currently rent a cute, but a bit rundown, one bedroom house in Forest Knolls. We are looking for an upgrade and also warmer weather! Prior to living here we rented a 3 bedroom house in Mill Valley for 10 years(See a portion of our landlords reference letter below). We are very community minded and seasoned renters. "F and D leased a 3 bedroom house from me in Mill Valley, CA from 2004 to 2015. They took good care of the property, and always paid the rent on time, and are delightful people. They are missed in the neighborhood.
I've owned a few other rental properties in Mill Valley for many years. From my perspective it is great to have tenants like them who are reliable, amicable and treat the property as if it were their own. I live out of state and they deposited the monthly payments into a designated local rental account early or on time each month and were never once late. There were no complaints from their neighbors and they kept the house and its surrounding area clean and tidy. We refunded their security deposit in full with no delays.
I am pleased to say they were respectful, reasonable and helpful tenants. They never made any unreasonable demands or complaints during the duration of their stay. The house is an older home and as such, sometimes has maintenance issues. They took initiative to report issues that if neglected would cause greater future expense. They were willing and able to be on site for workers and repair people. This level of conscientiousness and assistance was greatly appreciated as a non-local owner. If given the chance I would gladly lease to them again."
