My partner and I are looking for a room, cottage, guest house, vacation rental, or unique property situation where we can land, contribute, and make thoughtful use of a space that may otherwise be sitting empty or underused.
We are creative and professional partners with a strong working relationship, shared goals, and complementary skills. We are currently in a transition period after investing everything we had into a commercial/creative venture. Because of that, we do not have a large move-in deposit available right now, but we do have strong professional experience, practical skills, great references, and a sincere willingness to contribute value in other ways. For instance, if you are trying to organize, start a small business, need social media managment.
I also have a background in community programming, grant writing, housing compliance, property management, and creative event production, so I naturally think about how spaces can be cared for, activated, organized, and used in a way that benefits both the property owner and the surrounding community. If you have a vacation rental, guest unit, retreat property, commercial-adjacent space, or unused home that needs stewardship, light management, administrative support, creative programming, cleaning, organizing, or simply reliable people present on-site, we would love to talk.
We are hoping to find a thoughtful, flexible arrangement with someone who may be open to a creative rental structure, reduced deposit, payment plan, partial trade, or property stewardship exchange. This could include helping keep the property clean and organized, preparing the space between guests, supporting guest communication, watching over the property during off-seasons or slow periods, helping with small projects, caring for animals, or developing appropriate community-based uses for the space if that is something the owner is interested in.
Between the two of us, we bring a strong mix of practical, creative, and strategic experience. My partner is a well studied creative, clean, hands-on, and comfortable helping with household goals, tenant or guest coordination, community projects, event support, documentation, outreach, and general property care. She is amazing with dogs and loves animals.
I am organized and bring experience in business strategy and development, administrative support, e-commerce, and tech-supported projects. I have experience in event and podcast production. Together, we are resourceful, thoughtful, and used to living and working in creative environments, including collaborative households and artist-in-residence-style spaces, we both have film production experience.
We both are great at cleaning, organizing, and truly caring for our environment. We are respectful, adaptable, and community-minded, and we understand privacy, boundaries, and the importance of clear agreements.
