My name is Alex.
I am currently at the Mary Isaak Center.
I don't have an income. I am schizophrenic and have applied for disability. I am awaiting that source for myself.
Apart from the stigma of mental illness, I am a normal person. I am eight years into treatment and am stable.
The disability application should be approved in about six months. Then I am flying home.
I don't mean to scare away a room by mentioning my health condition, but I don't have anything to hide. I am just a regular guy and a proud, devout Jew!
