FT Seasonal Security Guard, Far Niente Wine Estates
Founded in Oakville, California in 1885 and restored in 1979, Far Niente is consistently recognized as a benchmark producer of Napa Valley Chardonnay and Oakville Estate Cabernet Sauvignon.
Responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and controlled access of all visitors, staff, and vehicles entering the estate.
You will be successful in this role while performing these essential responsibilities:
Access Control & Visitor Management
• Monitor and control entry and exit of vehicles, guests, and staff.
• Verify visitor identities, reservations, or appointments before granting access.
• Ensure delivery vehicles are logged, inspected, and directed appropriately.
• Provide a welcoming but professional presence in line with the estate’s luxury image.
Safety Monitoring
• Maintain constant observation of the entrance area
• Watch for suspicious activity, unauthorized access, or security breaches and report immediately.
Emergency Preparedness & Response
• Respond swiftly to incidents such as trespassing, theft, accidents, or medical emergencies.
Customer Service & Representation
• Greet guests courteously, reflecting the estate’s luxury standards.
• Provide directions or basic information about the estate while maintaining discretion.
• Assist guests with any urgent needs while keeping security priorities intact.
Protection of Assets
• Safeguard the estate’s property.
• Ensure only authorized personnel have access to sensitive areas (e.g., wine cellars, offices).

You will be qualified for this role if you meet these requirements:
• Previous experience of 3 years in a similar role.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Calm demeanor, able to diffuse escalating situations.
• Ability to use Microsoft Word.
• Ability to communicate effectively in the predominately used language.
• Full mobility. Ability to stand, walk, stoop, ascend and descend stairs.
• Ability to drive golf cart.
