Who We Are- Hello! We are a professional, quiet, and highly responsible couple searching for our next TEMPORARY home (5 months; -June 1st up to November 1st) within Marin County (although we would consider up to Petaluma is it fits all parties). We are non-smokers who value a peaceful, clean living environment. We treat every rental with the same care as if we owned it and are looking for a short-term situation where we can be exemplary tenants.
Employment & Financial Stability We offer excellent financial stability and a consistent track record of on-time payments. I work as a designer builder, and my partner is a Master’s grad who is currently a senior staff member at ‘Alyne Recovery Center’ in Sonoma. Our combined annual household income is approximately $125K. We are prepared to provide excellent references from past landlords, credit reports (Fico 795), and proof of income.
The "Win-Win": Design-Forward Maintenance & Renovation. What sets us apart is the professional value I can bring to your property. I am a professional designer and builder specializing in Modern Aesthetics / Historic Restoration / High-End Finishes. I am formally trained in:
Electrical & Plumbing: From troubleshooting to fixture upgrades.
Custom Renovations: Skilled in cabinetry, flooring, and spatial design.
Fine Painting & Finishes: Expert-level prep and execution.
If you have a property that needs a design refresh, a "fixer-upper" that isn't quite market-ready, or an older Marin home that requires a skilled hand to maintain its character, we would be a perfect fit. I am insured and have my own professional-grade tools and am open to discussing "sweat equity" arrangements or simply providing high-quality upkeep to keep your investment in top shape.
Logistics
Location: Anywhere in Marin or within a 20-mile radius.
Move-in Date: June 1st till November 1st 2026
Pets: None.
Perks:
Modern Aesthetics: Our talents would appeal to owners of Eichlers (common in San Rafael/Lucas Valley), contemporary hillside homes, Victorians, or Craftsman homes in San Anselmo or Mill Valley, or anywhere within 15- 20 miles of central.
"Service Call" Relief: Landlords in Marin often pay a premium ($150+) just for a plumber or electrician to show up. Knowing we can handle a leaky P-trap or a faulty dimmer switch and/or painting without you having to call a pro is a massive financial incentive.
Looking forward to hear from you soon, William H. in San Rafael
