This camper van has been built out with a working sink and countertop, a pop up roof area with comfortable foam mattress, an awning to provide shade, and track rails set into the van floor to allow for safe and movable attachment of seats, cargo, etc. The tracks rails make changing and adding to the lay out easy and stress free. A storage box that secures to the guard rails is also included in the build out.
There is a single seat and a 3 passenger seat (which folds down into a twin size bed) included with the van set up that can be moved via the track rails.
The front passenger seat can swivel 360 degrees to add seating to the van common area.
The sink is equipped with a water reservoir and pump, and an approximately 40L mini fridge for food storage.
The rooftop sleeping area sets up via controls on the inner side of the Van’s sliding door. The area is accessible via a collapsible ladder that stores easily. The dimensions of the sleeping area is approximately 7 feet long and 4 feet wide.
This van was a project that my dad had been working on for several years. He started it after being diagnosed with stage 4 prostrate cancer. It was his dream to finish the van build out and tour all the National Parks. Unfortunately, his battled with the cancer ended earlier this year - before he could finish the van. My hope is that this van will be able to go to someone who will be able to use it for all the adventures it meant for. There are lots of tools and build out materials left over that will be included with the Van - such as insulation material.
