You will need to have a driver’s license
and a record of safe driving in order to drive the elderly woman to occasional medical appointments.
It would be helpful - but NOT essential, if:
If you own or have access to a motor vehicle.
If you can speak English
and also Tagalog or Spanish.
If you are (or are not) a
"Marin County certified In Home Support Service [IHSS] provider".
Marin County pays people to care for the disabled, such as this home owner.
They should be able to pay you $1,500 or more per month
to care for the home owner while you live there
and you pay only $99 per month rent.
(Again, being a certified Marin IHSS provider is optional and not necessary.)
