We are a family with two small children, a 7 year old and 4 year old. Both kids bring kid energy, but typically sleep soundly from 8:30-6:30/7 am, and are in daycare or school full time. Kids are here half time. The rest of their time they are at their dad's house.
I teach middle school and love dancing and yoga when I can find the time. There's one larger spare room I rent occasionally as well, though it is currently unoccupied.
You have your own bedroom, a shared full bathroom with the kids (we can work out a schedule if you're concerned, but they aren't in there a lot), and there is an additional half bath available as well. You have full access to the kitchen, laundry, other common rooms, etc, and are welcome to use the patio. There is space to store a bike if needed.
We live on a quiet street about a 15 min walk from downtown Calistoga, the farmers market, Oat Hill mine trail, and many parks.
We are looking for someone respectful and responsible who is willing to do a background check, due to small children being in the home. If you get the room, I will deduct the cost of the background check from 1st months rent.
I have rented to harvest interns and locals many times before, and I'm still in touch with many of my previous tenants.
Asking $1100/month, $1100 deposit plus first months rent ($2200 total).
