Hello everyone, I am looking to switch careers after working in a construction office full time as an office admin for the last 3 years. I come from a family that owns three apartment complexes in Mendocino County and love living in the North Bay Area. My boyfriend of the last year lives in San Francisco and is very handy. He is here on a work visa and has worked his entire life in construction. Together we are looking for an apartment in the Marin or Sonoma County area where we could live together and manage it together. We do own one cat.
I have at least four years' experience in management of a low-income senior housing complex my family partly owns alongside of a USARD loan. The complex is in a partnership with the federal government. It has on onsite manager with 38 units and a long wait list. The other two buildings we own total another 12 units and are managed by an offsite manager. I helped my family recruit and train both current managers.
I have lived in Sonoma County for over 20 years and went to Sonoma State University. I have run my own 1099 business in financial services for years; I love my firm and leadership and do not wish to change this part of my life. My current landlord is in his 70's and his kids just moved onto the property we all live on, and they manage it for him.
My construction job is an eight min drive from my current home. I would like to find a new place to live and move on from working in a traditional office setting to more of a home office setting full time. Well versed in landlord tenant law and can market units. I have worked in a professional office setting for over 15 years. Please reach out to schedule an interview. I would of course agree to a credit and background check. Thank you so much for your consideration.
