Let's see, Valero is leaving California and gonna lose a billion dollars in doing so - because of high taxes? Seems counterproductive (ooo big word, say it with me now "cown-ter-pro-duck-tive"). They're making billions but "leaving" because of taxes? So you're pointing out that a corporation doesn't like to be taxed?
So your solution is to remove their taxes? Gee, can they do that for individuals too? Because I'd bet there'd be a line of Americans for that.
So yea, fuck Valero. They do nothing around here except pollute our air and water while charging Californians the highest prices in America. I know 400 people would be affected, but I'm sure the company will offer them relocation or severance packages.
Oh and they aren't "leaving" California. They're removing their refinery operations. It'll still be a depot for oil deliveries and gas shipments.
But hey, thanks for keeping up on what's going on in California. For someone who hates the place you sure keep your ear to the ground on things going on.

Valero oil company is going to lose over $1 Billion by moving out of California and away from Democrat taxes and regulations, and they say it is money well spent.
Newsom and his 80% Democrat majority in Sacramento have ruined the state and they're busy running all of the big money making businesses out.
Again, nice job Gavin.
The funny thing is, after all the disastrous things Newsom and his Democrats have done to this state, they still don't get it.
