Looking to rehome my cat ~ cosmo (Santa Rosa)

Unfortunately, it did not work out with me and my partner, with him wanting to not continue the relationship. I am working part time and myself having lived primarily in the east bay. I am still building community and connections here, living here only a year.
I think it is best due to my circumstances that I rehome cosmo. my ex has expressed that he wouldn’t mind having him until i’ve found stable housing, but once I faced that honestly, that is not going to happen. Not anytime soon. i have a few spaces that people are letting me be with them in transition, but in terms of renting, i just am not able to afford it. and i need time to get back to being able to have that again and focusing on myself solely.
Cosmo is just the sweetest bug. he’s kinda goth, but goofy at the same time. he’s a lil star sparkling warmly under the moon light. he loves people and animals. fun to play with and make him chase string. morning and night cuddles. wet food enjoyer. some pics i have are him with my ex’s cat, syl. this is heart breaking for me. i think it is unfortunately what i need to severe myself from the relationship, move forward and have the strength to be independent and get back on my feet after this break up experience.
