We adopted Willow in 2021, and she just turned 8 in February. She has so much spunk and is a super sweet and fun dog. She is triggered by our toy Aussie which has caused her to nip on occasion because she thinks she's protecting her. She is so smart and loves people and calms down around people if her sister does not provoke her. We have seen her be fine around other dogs off leash, but she has had an incident where she went after a chihuahua and more recently a bigger dog out of the blue. But then she was just around another dog, without our little dog around and she was completely fine.
She knows how to sit, stay, lay down, roll over (on carpet) and "pretty" where she puts her front paws up and will pose for a treat. She absolutely has the ability to thrive with someone who can give her the attention and training she deserves. She is an indoor dog, but loves being outside. She loves to play fetch. She is spayed and is microchipped.
If you have experience with Aussies or other herding dogs with anxiety that need a little extra love, please contact me. We will not just give her to anyone; she deserves to be with a family that can give her more than we can.
Email me here if interested and if you sound like a good fit, we can discuss more on the phone. A rehoming fee will apply.
Thank you so much!
