3 Dogs-Foster or Adopt. (Petaluma)

We have 2 wks before leaving the state.
We need a long term foster (6 months) or adoption.
All wonderful dogs! Please consider! No fees! Just a loving home environment.
The Medium/large sized dog.
Color: Black and white German Short Haired Pointer Mix.
I raised him from a little tiny pup. We received him unexpectedly this one night my husband went to the grocery store to pick up milk... and 4 years later we have one of the best dogs Ive ever had - of course dogs are a lot off work, esp dogs like Bodhi. Its hard to put into words...
He is loving, good with children, cats, other dogs, and chickens. He thrives on play and attention. He's energetic, but can also "turn off " and chill.
He likes car rides - but only if he gets shotgun, otherwise he is a bit dramatic about it all.
If you raise your voice or have a tone of upset, he will hide under a chair. So if you're a yeller or have anger issues, Bodhi is not the dog for you.
Breed: Best guess after seeing his parents and pics online- we think he is a Short Haired Pointer. His mom looked like a terrier/pit mix - the father looked like a Bluetick Coonhound. We think Bodhi looks like the pointers we see in pics online. He has a strong jaw but other than that- i dont see that he has any obvious pit traits.
He's about 50-60 lbs and has soft fur.
Walks well- sometimes he pulls on the leash. If you don't feel strong enough to walk a big dog, this is not the right dog for you. Yes he barks! But it's always for a reason- like the amazon delivery drivers, or sirens in the distance. Unlike our chihuahua mix pups, their barking is more frequent and random.
