I am currently searching for a PT commercial property management role in the North Bay. I would consider a full-time position.
My education and background are in marketing and communications, but I have been managing a commercial property in Cotati since 2009 (seven warehouse-office suites).
This tenure includes proficiency in:
> Preparing and showing vacant suites (incl online ads).
> Lease writing, negotiation and signing.
> Hiring contractors (e.g. electrical, renovation and paving) and service vendors (e.g. fire sprinkler certification, backflow testing, locksmithing).
> Site visits and inspections.
> Tracking and analysis: generating Excel docs with formulas to track lease dates, yearly rent increases, and gross revenue per square foot as well as comparative analyses to help determine rates.
> Minor repairs as needed.
I focus on maintaining full occupancy; clear communication with ownership, lessees, contractors, government officials and vendors; looking out for the interests of the property owners; and upholding fair and objective business practices.
I am compensated $50/hour in my current role, and I generally keep my time under 10 hours per month. Special projects such as suite remodels and or vacancies may require 15 hours per month during the preparation and or leasing period.
I do not have a real estate license, but I am willing to obtain one as soon as possible.
I ask that you review my qualifications with the hope of discussing our common objectives in person or virtually. I will provide a resume with references upon escalation of the interview process.
