We are a high-end electrical contractor seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Project Administrator / Assistant Project Manager to support our team. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
• Assist project managers with day-to-day tasks and project coordination
• Prepare, review, and organize project documents, reports, and schedules
• Communicate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Maintain accurate records and project files
• Support office operations and provide administrative assistance as needed
Example Tasks: These are a few sample responsibilities; additional duties will be added or adjusted as needed. Tasks may include plan take-offs, preparing change orders, creating as-builts, updating panel schedules, maintaining insurance certificates, pulling permits, ordering office supplies and more.
Requirements
• Experience in a construction environment preferred
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with management
• Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working on-site full time
• Willing to assist with office tasks outside typical project management duties to support smooth operations
• Able to ask for assistance when needed and stay productive by taking initiative with company tasks and projects
