Part-time administrative/editorial assistant for small, accredited association. 25 hours/week, Monday–Friday, 9am-2pm. Position is both remote and in-person. Ideal candidate resides in Santa Rosa.
Position Summary:
Provide administrative and editorial support to committees and the editorial team, helping to ensure the smooth and efficient production of publications and projects. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills, and experience with editing and publishing.
Key Responsibilities:
-Coordinate with authors, reviewers, volunteers and internal teams to monitor submissions and deadlines.
-Perform accurate data entry and maintain schedule of editorial activity.
-Adhere to style guidelines, proofread documents.
-Records maintenance for compliance.
-Coordinate and facilitate projects with volunteers
-Customer service
Qualifications/Skills:
-Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel is required
-Must have an eye for detail and enjoy solving problems
-Easily adapts to new systems and software
-Has excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize
-Accurate data entry
-Is punctual and reliable
-Experience with Acrobat Pro, Dropbox, and image editing
