Rough Linen is a manufacturer of luxury linen products. We are seeking a self motivated individual for a part-time (which can turn into full-time) shipping-receiving job to join our small sewing workshop.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Greets and screens incoming visitors in a professional manner and promptly notifies appropriate person of their arrival.
Pulls orders on a daily basis and processes orders accurately and timely.
Wraps linen with ribbons & tissue.
Labels and folds the items.
Prepares outgoing mail in a timely manner, including packaging and shipping orders.
Receives and signs for courier deliveries and distributes incoming mail to the appropriate party.
Ensures returns are processed according to company procedures.
Creates and maintains proper response letters on computer for various incoming correspondence.
Provides administrative support for special projects to include research, compiling data and preparation of summary reports based on results.
Sends out sample cards to company subscribers.
Adheres to safety guidelines at all times.
Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with colleagues.
Maintains the organization of the stockroom.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have ability to lift and or move up to 25pounds.
Intermediate computer skills
Ability to communicate/understand written as well as oral instructions.
Extensive knowledge of shipping procedures and requirements.
Basic math skills and knowledge of computer operations.
Demonstrate positive safety attitude.
