Hey. I'm a guitar player and singer looking for some folks to play with. A jam at first, but hopefully we'll find a good mix and commit to making it a regular thing. At a minimum I want to learn some songs, but I'm open to playing a gig here and there if we're feelin' it, though that's not necessarily the goal. The goal is to find a groove with some likeminded players.
I play acoustic and electric guitar. I'm often the 2nd guitarist/rhythm player, but I've really been focusing on leads of late and am improving. I am big on harmonies and can sing lead or backing vocals. I've been playing for about 30 years. Influences are primarily 90s and classic rock, but not only: The Wood Brothers, Jason Isbell, Nathaniel Rateliff, Pearl Jam, Radiohead, The Dead, The Beatles, Allman Brothers, and Stephen Stills are all fav's, though I also love Latin grooves.
I'm 53 and live in downtown Petaluma, but I'm willing to drive pretty much anywhere in the North Bay. I've got some space in my living room for 3 or 4 people playing acoustically (or lightly amplified depending on time of day) but no room for a drum kit.
