Drum lessons focus on proper technique; learning rudiments, and how they apply in the greater context; developing a sense of swing and groove; and generally uncovering and discovering the world of rhythm through drums. Fun stuff! Lessons are taught out of my studio near downtown Petaluma.
Let’s listen to some music, dissect the masters’ playing, and get on a path to unlocking musicality!
Lessons are either 30 minutes (recommended for younger students) or 1 hour.
30 Min - $45
1 Hour - $80
At the moment I have openings on Sundays and Monday evenings, but I could be flexible other nights as well. Message me for availability.

I have been playing drums for over 30 years, and have loved deepening my knowledge and connection to all kinds of music through this instrument. I’ve played in bar bands, touring bands, country bands, punk bands, wedding bands, noise rock, blues, jazz, rock and roll, Western swing, all kinds of stuff.
