I bought this really rare guitar last year. There’s nothing wrong with it whatsoever. Plays and sounds really well. Personally, it wasn’t the sound I was looking for and I own too many acoustic guitars so it’s time to part ways. It looks and sounds just like a Martin D18, hence the nickname “Lawsuit Guitar.” In fact, Martin threaten to sue Takamine in 1977 because it was basically a rip off of their famous D18 model and they were selling it for half the price. Takamine agreed to re-design the headstock and they’ve never made a guitar with this headstock ever again. That’s what makes this guitar rare. If you want to buy a Martin, save your money and try this guitar first.

Small burn mark near the neck, otherwise no other cosmetic damage. Tuning pegs are the original. Doesn’t have a pickup so you’ll need to have that added yourself. $500 OBO.
