Gibson J–185EC, 2003, in very good condition. Beautiful flamed maple back, sides and neck, Sitka spruce top, ebony fretboard, mother of pearl rosette, scalloped bracing The tone is well-balance with strong, clear mid-range. The large body (almost dreadnought size) gives ample bass response as well. Fishman under-saddle pick up, with convenient controls on the top side. Slim taper neck, low action setup for easy playing. 24-3/4” scale, 1.723” nut width. This was the top of the line “small jumbo” from Gibson when introduced, and the craftsmanship is top-notch. A few small dings, minor scratching on the back, and some finish checking on the sides. Otherwise, excellent cosmetic and structural condition. Original hard shell case, also in excellent condition, included.
Will consider trade for smaller body short scale guitar.
