This is a 2005 Arches mandolin made by Chris Baird. If features a highly figured one piece maple back, highly figured sides, spruce top, highly figured burl head stock overly, ebony fret board with gold Evo frets, Waverly tuners, Montana Lutherie bridge, and engraved James tailpiece. 1 1/8" nut. Radiused fret board. Fit and finish are highest quality, consistent with Mr. Baird's work. Great tone and playability at a very affordable price for a quality USA made mandolin. Comes with a Superior hard case.
