This is a 2022 Fender Custom Shop Telecaster - Wildwood 10 Ultra Light. Ordered direct from Wildwood guitars. It is all original including the hand wound Custom Shop twisted tele pickups. As noted, it is built from the Wildwood guitars custom spec "lightweight" collection. The weight is true to the name at 5.47 lbs! Despite the light weight it growls in the bridge position better than any tele I have owned. Professionally set up and maintained with nickel-wound 10s. All specs are included on the photo of the shop traveler.
The neck is a '57 soft v which will be closer to a medium feel than one would expect. It is also quarter sawn and roasted beautifully.
The guitar was factory made with light relic but also a thin lacquer finish called 'Relic Ready' so it is specifically designed to relic in your hands quite quickly. Because of this, pick marks, dings, etc. impact it faster and more consistently than other guitars. Since this guitar has seen a handful of gigs and was a go-to practice guitar for a year or so, you will find pickmarks on the upper bout above the neck pickup. You may not be able to see in the photos but there is also light rash on the back which has not penetrated the finish but it feels a little rough to the touch. Otherwise. just a few marks here and there commensurate with the relic. Again, the guitar was designed to achieve a quick relic look so it will further relic naturally as you break it in.
