Recently serviced Tascam 488 MkII 8-Track cassette recorder for sale. All drive belts have been replaced, and the troublesome 'C' gear has been swapped out. Cassette door tab is broken, so it does not 'pop' up anymore, but everything else functions perfectly. Tested and working great.

Cash pickup in Petaluma. Open to offers, as well as trades for broken musical equipment or other electronics (I am not usually interested in anything working). I am frequently down in Oakland/Berkeley/Emeryville and SF so I may be able to meet you near I-680. Possible to deliver elsewhere in the Bay Area for a small additional fee. I buy broken synths!
