70's vintage Matsumoku factory Gibson L5 archtop copy made in Japan. Jazz box on the cheap.
The good - Grover replacement tuners. Replacement Switchcraft switch, updated pots and knobs. Pickups are original.
The not so good- Some bumps and bruises, has had a somewhat sloppy but effective neck repair at the heel area, and has some fretting out above the 14th fret on the B and high E strings. I think this could likely be remedied with some fret work, but I never bothered with it.
The guitar has what most would say is high action. It plays pretty well for me, and I gigged it for years as is. That said, it will probably need a setup and some TLC based on your own personal preferences. Consider it a playable project.
