Once I decided to sell them, I had a very talented technician give them a full bench run through. It turns out that one of the low-end op-amps had ceased to function while dormant, and he replaced it.
The pair now function perfectly, and I have been using them side by side with another set of monitors, and they sound great. But, I only need one set, so these are for sale.
Early in their life I damaged the corner of one of the cabinets. Since it was superficial and didn’t impact the usage, I never bothered to put any kind of aesthetic band-aid on them, but it would be quite easy to mask the damaged area.
Of course, if you wanted to audition them, I'd be happy to play some audio through the speakers for you so you can verify that they are functioning perfectly.
These boxes sell used on Reverb for anywhere from $1150 to $2k used, these are priced lower because of the cabinet damage, and because I am interested in a fast turnaround.
