this was the original/1st version of this highly regarded preamp/enhancer... supposedly an exact part-for-part build of the preamp section of the famous EP3. to my ear, it lends a rich 3D quality to your tone. after running out of the original parts needed to recreate the original, Chase Tone continued to make similar units with alternate circuitry. currently, there are two of these original versions listed on reverb -one at $215, the other $329 not including taxes and shipping.
