First: It works perfectly. Strong, clear output. I haven't tried toggling to the "crisp" setting; oftentimes with old electronics, you have to be prepared to squirt a little De-Ox into a switch, and I just don't want to have to open this mic. Chances are you won't want to use that setting; crystal mics are plenty crisp enough.
Second: Unless you come across a DR10 in an unopened, new box, you're not likely to find one in this condition. Save for a few minor, tiny, surface scuffs, it's just about new-looking.
