original vintage 1963 fender Stratocaster. Plays like butter. Low action and amazing tones. The neck and body and some parts are original with some modification (what's original: back plate with serial number, jack/jack plate, tremolo arm, bridge (new saddles and brass tone block), tremolo spring anchor. Body was refinished (original color was olympic white) and some of the wood down by the toggle switches and pickup pockets was carved away to fit the switches and possibly to lighten the body. Body has been refinished. All electronics have been changed out and modded. Tuner holes have been slightly bored out for oversize locking tuners, would need conversion bushings to mount old style tuners. Pickup switch has been changed out for a Brian May style 3 dip switch selection. (up is in phase, middle is off, down is out of phase). As for the sound, the wood is nice and resonate even when played without an amp. Neck feels great. This guitar has been played for ages, feels good in the hands and sounds great.
