Beautiful violin bow made by August Nurnberger-Suess (1875-1944), (of the renowned lineage of German violin bow makers, son of Adolf and grandson of Johann Christian Suss) who brought the tradition to the US, establishing his workshop in Novato, California after emigrating in 1912, and continuing the family's legacy of crafting fine string instrument bows.
The round pernambuco stick is medium golden brown in color. The silver mounted ebony frog has a pearl eye on each side.
The three-piece button is of silver and ebony and has a pearl eye at the end.
