Hi, you're looking at a "one-of" amplifier by Memphis amp builder Robert Hinson. Lots of info about this guy on the Net. Apparently he was an amp tech for the band Wilco back in the 90s where he repaired amps and pedals. Then he started building custom one-of amp clones with a twist, adding something not found in the original amp, like this one. It is a hybrid of a Vox AC15 with Top Boost, 6V6 power tubes instead of EL84s, giving it an almost Fender-ish Tweed sound. It sports one volume knob, one tone knob, a tremolo that can go just about as slow as I've ever heard one go, but attenuates to faster speeds as well. The speaker is a WGS Veteran 30, but if you prefer, I have a Celestion Vintage 30 I'll gladly swap out. It has a point to point hand built chassis, where he used mostly wires and other electrical components he could scrounge from old radios, amps, etc. Because he was never too concerned with the looks of the cabinet, it is ugly, but functional. And if you read the reviews from everyone who owns one of his amps, they all rave about them. I used it in my band for about 2 1/2 years but I've gone in another direction I need to thin the herd... Thank you for looking.
If you respond, please leave me your phone number, so I can cut down on the scammers. Thanks.
