FirstGear Mesh-Tex Jacket with liner - Size Large
For sale is my used FirstGear Mesh-Tex vented mesh motorcycle jacket with liner, size Large. The jacket was manufactured in March 2002 and originally cost about $140, and I’m selling it for $50. The jacket and liner are in good condition. See photos.
This summer-weight motorcycling jacket is very comfortable and allows plenty of airflow. Although the shoulder, elbow, and back protection armor is limited, it provides much more protection than simply wearing a windbreaker. I’m including a FirstGear liner (size Large), but I’m not certain that it is the liner that goes with this jacket.
Here are some of the advertised features:
• Rated ‘Best Buy’ in Motorcycle Consumer News, July 2002
• Ballistic mesh nylon shell, totally vented for warm weather riding comfort
• Perforated EVA shoulder and elbow armor with EVA foam back pad
• Perforated nylon lining for maximum airflow in warm weather
• Zippered hand-warmer pockets and inside wallet pocket for additional storage
• Adjustable sleeve cuffs and adjustable waist ensures a comfortable fit
Scorpion Covert Pro Motorcycling Jeans – Size 38
For sale is my used pair of Scorpion Covert Pro motorcycle jeans, size 38 (waist). They originally cost about $150, and I’m selling them for $50. The pants are in very good condition. See photos.
The Covert Pro jeans have the same fit and looks of the previously introduced Covert jeans, but the denim material is a bit thicker and it’s a Cordura brand blend of denim and nylon, which is more abrasion resistant than just plain denim. The pants have the same cut and look--they’re a simple five-pocket design and are very comfortable. The cut is “average” meaning not baggy and not skinny. Aside from being just a bit thicker than standard denim, the “feel” is not pre-washed, but not stiff either. The yellow fabric liner is Kevlar that provides the abrasion protection. The pants have pockets for armor and Scorpion sells the SAS-TEC knee and hip armor, which conforms well to the body (I purchased the pants without the armor).
This is what Scorpion has to say about their Covert Pro Jeans:
• Protective riding jeans with durable Cordura® denim, fully lined with heavy DuPont Kevlar lining for strength and abrasion resistance.
• Cordura Denim is much stronger than standard denim.
• Heavy 250G DuPont Kevlar lining.
• Mesh pockets for optional larger size Sas-Tec knee armor and hip armor.
• Full mesh inside liner for airflow and comfort.
• Knees pockets have Hook-and-loop adjustability to accommodate armor.
• NightViz reflective material at rear inner cuff for increased nighttime visibility.

Street & Steel “Oakland” Motorcycling pants - European Size 52 (comparable to a US 38 or 40)
For sale is my used pair of Street & Steel “Oakland” motorcycle jeans, European size 52 (comparable to a US 38 or 40), in very good condition. They originally cost about $130, and I’m selling them for $45. See photos.
The jeans were manufactured in July 2020. Here’s how they are described on the Revzilla website:
The Street & Steel Oakland Jeans are a pair of classic five-pocket jeans designed for the moto enthusiast. The traditional design uses a denim blend with elastane for a touch of stretch and added range of motion. The tailoring straddles the line between boot cut and straight cut to reduce snags and buffeting when on the bike. On the inside of the Oakland Jeans, aramid reinforcement lines the seat, hips and knees. This heat- and tear-resistant fabric protects from abrasion as CE knee armor inserts protect from impact.
Features:
• 12oz stretch denim riding jeans
• Seamless knee design
• 5 pocket design
• Heat and tear resistant aramid-reinforced seat, hips and knees
• Removable and adjustable CE knee protection included
