Position Overview:
Machine Operator – Entry Level - 2 –
Shift: Nights 1:30pm – Midnight, Monday- Thursday (4-10’s)
The selected candidate will be responsible for the operation of multiple machining centers, monitors tooling and quality of work throughout the production process. This hands-on position will require a conscience individual who is willing to learn from instruction and training. The successful candidate must have a strong commitment to quality and schedules as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This is an entry level position.
Responsibilities and Expectations:
• Ability to understand verbal directions and tasks in English
• Has some experience and understanding of hand tools (Wrenches, screw gun etc.)
• Can keep work area clean and organized
• Verifies part count in production bins
• Attention to detail and occasional use of a Microscope
• Responsible for the operation of multiple machining centers
• Monitors product quality throughout the production process
• Works with immediate Supervisor and Quality Assurance to use inspection equipment and procedures required to manufacture products successfully
• Use problem solving skills and good judgment to minimize production down time
Education/Experience:
To be successful in this position the candidate should have a high school diploma and demonstrate a mechanical aptitude. Any machining or shop experience would be a plus.
