REACH Strategies is offering a great opportunity to join a growing agency operating in the progressive social change space. We are looking for a passionate, creative and dynamic freelance Web Designer/Graphic Designer that can develop and grow our web content.

From deep strategy work on leveraging the right mix of outreach tools to basic blocking and tackling to ensure that the most important work is completed, our campaign team ensures that our partners make steady progress towards their goals. We deploy a suite of custom-designed social monitoring tools to mark progress and support course corrections.

SUMMARY OF THE POSITION:
The freelance Web Designer/Graphic Designer will build upon the current REACH Strategies website, make adjustments to the look, layout, and features of the website as well as support the creation of a range of small web projects to support our clients. The freelance Web Designer/Graphic Designer should understand both graphic design and computer programming. The freelance Web Designer/Graphic Designer will work closely with REACH CEO and Senior Program Strategist in keeping the site up-to-date and prioritizing needs, among other related tasks.
Include but are not limited to, the following:
-Conceptualizing creative ideas with REACH CEO and Senior Program Strategist
-Testing and improving the design of the website
-Establishing design guidelines, standards, and best practices
-Maintaining the appearance of websites by enforcing content standards
-Designing visual imagery for websites and ensuring that they are in line with branding for clients
-Working with different content management systems
-Communicating design ideas using user flows, process flows, sitemaps and wireframes
-Incorporating functionalities and features into websites
-Designing sample pages including colors and fonts
-Preparing design plans and presenting the website structure
-An up to date portfolio showcasing strong body of work
-Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and other visual design tools
-Good understanding of content management systems
-Good understanding of search engine optimization principles
-Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
-Excellent graphic design skills
-Up-to-date experience with international web protocols, standards, and technologies
-Creative and open to new ideas
-Adaptable and willing to learn new techniques
-Excellent communication skills
-A sense of humor
