Abbey, Weitzenberg, Warren & Emery is a preeminent Sonoma County law firm based in Santa Rosa, California, less than 50 miles north of San Francisco. Our firm is well known and respected for its work and successes in complex litigation and transactional matters, including business and commercial litigation, real estate disputes and transactions, employment law, trust and estate litigation, construction defect litigation, corporate law, and elder abuse litigation.
As one of the longest tenured firms in the North Bay, we bring generations of aggressive, effective, and successful legal representation to Sonoma County and Northern California. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent service to our many local and national clients, including wineries, banks, high tech firms, vineyard owners, non-profit enterprises, real estate developers and many other large and small business owners, while stressing the importance of a strong work-life balance in the heart of Sonoma County’s wine country. As announced by the North Bay Business Journal, our firm has been awarded on multiple occasions as one of the best places to work in the North Bay. We are deeply committed to community involvement and volunteer work and encourage all of our attorneys to serve on the boards of local non-profits and other organizations.
We are seeking a trial attorney (or aspiring trial attorney) with three to seven years’ experience to join our firm as an hourly litigation associate. You must have achieved a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) and have been admitted to the California State Bar. We offer a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience, with total annual compensation ranging from $150,000 to $200,000, which includes our generous bonus program. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.
We are looking for a highly motivated candidate with a strong work ethic, solid analytical and writing skills, and broad experience in all aspects of civil litigation. As a result of our firm’s relatively small size, all of our associates are entrusted with dealing directly with clients, opposing counsel and the courts.
If you are interested in applying to join our firm, and you possess the experience and skills specified, please provide your resume, cover letter, transcript and a writing sample to Kathy Edmonds at kedmonds@abbeylaw.com.
