Firm Profile: Join a premier Bay Area personal injury firm with a 30-year track record of success. We are looking for a seasoned professional, to provide high-level support to our lead litigator as we prepare for upcoming trials and handle a robust caseload.
Key Responsibilities
• Discovery: Draft and respond to complex discovery requests, including Form/Special Interrogatories, Requests for Production (RFPs), and Requests for Admission (RFAs).
• Law & Motion: Draft high-stakes pleadings, meet-and-confer letters, and substantive motions (e.g., Motions to Compel, Oppositions to Summary Judgment).
• Case Analysis: Review and summarize voluminous medical records, police reports, and expert witness depositions to identify key liability and damage issues.
• Trial Prep: Assist in the preparation of trial briefs, OnCue presentation software and/or trial prep software (a must), exhibit lists, and witness outlines.
• Legal Research: Conduct targeted research and relevant case law to support litigation strategy.
Qualifications:
• Experience: Minimum 3–5+ years of experience in California Personal Injury litigation.
• Technical Skills: Deep familiarity with California Code of Civil Procedure (CCP) and local Bay Area court rules. Must be familiar with trial software (OnCue and similar)
• Self-Starter: Ability to work independently with minimal oversight from the lead litigator.
