Lead Supervisor (Bags‑On) — High‑End Residential (Marin/Sonoma) — $45– (San Rafael)

Lounsbury Built

compensation: $25-30
employment type: full-time
experience level: mid level
job title: Office Admin
ABOUT US Lounsbury Built is a high‑end residential GC based in Marin, expanding into Sonoma County. We build beautiful homes with tight coordination, clean jobsites, and craftsmanship that stands up to close inspection.

ROLE SNAPSHOT We’re hiring a bags‑on Lead Supervisor to run a 3–4 person crew. You’ll set the day’s plan, keep the team moving, and deliver high‑quality framing/carpentry that meets our standards. This is a long‑term role—we won’t rush the hire. We’re looking for the right fit to grow with us as projects get larger and more complex.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Lead, coach, and work alongside a 3–4 person carpentry crew.

Read plans, perform takeoffs, and translate details into clear tasks & cut lists.

Own layout, structural framing, connections, shear nailing, and blocking.

Coordinate with PM/office; keep schedule and sequencing on track.

Maintain a clean, organized site: staging, materials, tools, protection.

Track materials and deliveries; flag lead‑time risks early.

Communicate clearly with clients, subs, and management (field + ops).

Complete simple daily logs/photos and update short checklists in shared software.

WHAT YOU BRING
Strong framing & finish carpentry skills; you lead by example, tools on.

Confident plan reading (details, sections, elevations) and field problem‑solving.

Knowledge of framing technicals (layout, posts/beams/LVLs/PSLs, trusses, shear walls, nailing schedules, hardware, shims, tolerances).

Clean and organized work style; safety‑minded.

Solid communication—direct, respectful, and solution‑oriented.

Schedule accountability: you can build a two‑week look‑ahead and hit it.

Software‑capable (phone/tablet): read and mark PDFs, basic Google Sheets/Drive, CompanyCam‑style photo logs.

Full‑time, year‑round work; projects in Marin and Sonoma County.

We’re hiring for the right long‑term fit, not the fastest. If this sounds like you, we’d love to talk.
