Full-Time Housekeeper - Open to Relocation/Live IN
Pay: $45–$55/hour DOE; Health stipend provided
Location: Ross (Marin County) may be moving to the city in the near future
A busy young family in the San Francisco area is seeking a proactive, highly organized live-out Housekeeper to support the smooth day-to-day operations of their home. The family places the greatest emphasis on maintaining an organized, smoothly run household. While there is a nanny who manages the primary care for the family’s two kids, the family will appreciate someone who is kid-friendly and familiar working in a home with children.
The ideal candidate is intuitive, discreet, and comfortable taking initiative. The family appreciates someone who can observe how the household functions and naturally step in where needed. Discretion and awareness are important, as the family values someone who can blend seamlessly into the home, paying attention to when the principals are working, taking a call, etc. Attention to detail is especially important when it comes to laundry and garment care, as the family maintains a wardrobe of clothing that requires special care and proper handling. The right person will feel comfortable asking questions when unsure, but will also have the confidence and experience to take initiative - making thoughtful decisions that simplify the family’s day-to-day life.
The family travels frequently, so assistance with packing, unpacking, and wardrobe organization will be appreciated. Needs may shift slightly depending on travel and weekend plans, so flexibility is important.
