LAD Excavation is seeking a dependable Class A Driver for excavation and sitework operations in Sonoma, Napa, and Marin County.
This position includes operating a 10-wheeler dump truck, hauling materials, and transporting equipment using a 3-axle tag trailer. We are looking for someone who is safe, dependable, professional, and easy to work with — someone who takes care of equipment, communicates well, and shows up ready to get after it.
Responsibilities
• Safely operate a 10-wheel dump truck for hauling dirt, rock, base, debris, and materials
• Transport excavation equipment using a tag trailer (excavators, skid steers, compactors, etc.)
• Load, secure, and transport equipment safely and responsibly
• Coordinate daily with field crews and management for deliveries, pickups, and equipment moves
• Perform pre-trip / post-trip inspections and basic daily equipment checks
• Maintain clean, organized, and professional equipment
• Support field operations as needed between hauling or equipment moves
What We’re Looking For
• Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
• Experience operating 10-wheel dump trucks and equipment trailers
• Comfortable loading, securing, and moving excavation equipment
• Safety-minded, dependable, and punctual
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Professional attitude — reliable, respectful, and good to work with
• Excavation, grading, underground, or construction experience preferred
Bonus Experience (Not Required)
• Operating excavators, skid steers, loaders, or compactors
• Equipment maintenance or mechanical aptitude
• Experience working around excavation or underground crews
