Set of 2 Antique Wrought Iron Pedestal Candle Holders w/Square Knot appear to have had limited use, if any, for there is no residual wax or paint chips, dents, or dings. Typical for wrought iron, these are strong and sturdy and demonstrate excellent craftsmanship. These would look stunning on a mantle, dining table, console table, etc. Each holder was hand-forged w/over two feet of steel. The Square knot was done from two sections of 3/8" thick steel, then forge-welded together to ‘tighten’ the knot. The upper knot strands are likewise weld to a fine point that pierces the concave metal disc w/point protruding for the candle spike. Likewise, the foot was forged out of 3/8" thick steel into a ‘lazy S’ and drawn to a point and attached to the lower knot strands. The candle holders are about 11” H, the disc, 4-1/4”-dia. and the ‘S’ is 6” L x 3” W. [Note: Candles shown for reference only, NOT included.] The pair is available for local pick-up in San Rafael, cash, Venmo, or PayPal.
