A family estate find, this elegant creamy white platter was made by Universal Pottery for its ‘Ballerina’ line of tableware. It appears as virtually new, featuring a single pink rose w/2 buds amongst a cluster of dark green leaves. It is 12”-dia. x 13-/12” L on handle axis - large enough for serving a cake or for other festive occasion. Great for adding to one’s personal ‘Ballerina’ patterned dishes or to compliment one’s shabby chic decor. The hallmark ‘Universal Oven Proof Ballerina 1 Union Made in U.S.A.’ is cast in the underside. It’s in great vintage condition - no chips, no cracks, staining, or crazing.
