SYBARITIC (New York) Red Rectangular Textured Placemats are custom-made to order in New York City. The mat face has a rich red, faux leather with a pebble-like ‘shagreen’ texture, a beige felt backing, and trimmed w/dark metallic beading. The ‘shagreen’ adds a luster that enhances its overall appearance. The mat is about 18” W x 14” D, with generous rounded corners; it weighs about 14 oz. The retail price for a single, new, made-to-order mat is about $60. These have been gently used, the front appearing virtually as new, the felt back showing very modest wear from surface contact.
