We’re looking for a Dental Office Manager who enjoys creating an organized, positive workplace and helping a great team do their best work every day.
This is a key leadership role in our practice. You’ll help keep the office running smoothly, support patients and staff, and contribute to a welcoming, efficient environment where everyone feels respected and cared for.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
*Ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the dental office in accordance with established procedures and protocols
*Maintain regular, on-time attendance at the worksite
*Lead with professionalism, integrity, and emotional intelligence
*Work independently with minimal direction from the doctor
*Support and guide front office staff to improve efficiency and productivity
PATIENT & TEAM SUPPORT
*Respond promptly and courteously to patient and doctor inquiries
*Resolve patient concerns in line with company policies, healthcare regulations, and dental board standards
*Present treatment plans clearly and confidently to patients
*Maintain a friendly, respectful, and professional demeanor at all times
FINANCIAL & INSURANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
*Oversee collections and accounts receivable
*Arrange payment plans and schedules with patients
*Manage dental insurance claims and coordinate with insurance companies to ensure timely payment
*Review and monitor monthly budgets and operating expenses, including supplies and equipment
ADMINISTRATIVE & COMPLIANCE
*Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations and company policies
*Track new patient numbers and referral sources monthly
*Manage specialist referrals and follow-ups
*Prepare business correspondence and reports
*Ensure facilities and equipment meet OSHA, hygiene, and safety standards
GROWTH & IMPROVEMENT
*Identify inefficiencies and implement cost-saving or workflow improvements
*Review office performance daily, weekly, and monthly with the doctor
*Support marketing and promotional initiatives
What We’re Looking For...
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
*Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
*Management or supervisory experience, ideally in a healthcare setting
*Knowledge of dental terminology and office procedures
*Experience with insurance plans and claims processing
*Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental software
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office
