This is Rogier, and he is DNA-tested homozygous for the blue egg gene. This means that 100% of his female offspring will lay blue or green eggs! His father is a pure Silverudd’s Blue from speckled egg lines, and his mother is an Easter Egger. Rogier hatched from a speckled mint egg (pictured) and he is clean-faced with a single comb. Hatched 3/25/26. He would be a great rooster for colored/speckled egg breeding projects. He is a very sweet boy who has been handled from hatch, and has just recently started to crow.
