price shown above is total if bought one at time, prices for multiple items purchased can be much lower, IE: $20 of on each additional purchase Buy 2 get $20 off Total, buy 3 get $40 of total-buy 4 get $60 AND additional bonus $20 -so $80 off if buy all four.-so actual price if buy all-$ 520-ill probably throw in something small extra just for making my life easier. like another $20 for and even 500 (no, no less) , but only for nice people, too many weird troll types around these days, sigh.
Please do not contact us us until you can get here within 3 hours (and get here by 7pm-otherwise pls contact us the next day, after 7am, we dont make appts for the following day-too many no shows as something is going to come up in your life , thats one of life's lessons) , and are sure about what youre doing, we are near Graton, look at the attached map for approximate location, (I used to only hold for 2 hours, please dont make me regret extending that time. , and leave a valid phone #, usually we respond within 30 min,(usually faster) if I get called away for a bit I try to note that in the post, you can thank the no shows for this policy, the flaking ties up time and then they dont show , holding up everybody else and ends not being worth holding things. We dont respond to short "is this available" or similar short statements . Frankly, most people experienced with craigslist no longer respond to that either, instead ,by saying something in your inquiry indicating you have read the post and you have given some thought to the items involved saves everyone time. (we do buy things on craigslist for our projects , I get more success often by illustrating im real)
before 2016 we sold much of what we owned-one of those major life change thingys- and learned the ins and outs-had then and still remember some bad things happen do to no shows (thru out my back rushing to get a heavy item out of a shed to the front quickly, then just another no show that contacted me in the middle of the night , wanted to met a 7am,etc) have sold very little since then until maybe 6 months ago tho) no longer respond to that either, instead ,by saying something in your inquiry indicating you have read the post and you have given some thought to the items involved saves everyone time. (we do buy things on craigslist for our projects , I get more success often by illustrating im real)
cash only, no electronic stuff, bills less than 100's please, and we do check for counterfeits.
individual prices:
echo 250LN blower $100 2 stroke-requires fuel mixing
echo srm 225 $115 2 stroke
husqvarna 150bt backpack blower $150 2 stroke we have the extra pipe for this too, just not in pic
honda 4 stroke-no fuel mixing- gx35 (hht35 35cc) weed eater $235
all run and look excellent or better (mostly almost like newish , at least compared to most used stuff) The Honda looks almost new other than fuel tank stain, it doesnt look great in the first four Honda pics, dont know why, so added another-last pic shows it better.
No , we're not a shop or mechanics only some minor repairs here, (, i'll spare you the long story but we ended up with this stuff usually in lots of outdoor equipment we acquired as part of a project. 2nd owner -I think-on the husqvarna and the Honda , the echos dont even remeber source. 150bt is great , unfortunately we ended up needing the (almost) most powerful backpack blowers available for our project, still not quite powerful enough but im pretty sure carrying an actual jet engine on your back would be a little too heavy, just a wee bit. oh well.
Husky Started on 3rd or 4th pull a week ago, this one can be anywhere from 2 -4 pulls I think, in my experience husky are a little harder to start than the other main brands, but certain models have some unique advantages we need so thats mainly what we use.
Some of these are a little dirtier than in the pics, we took pics maybe month or more ago and havnt had time to list , and we've been using these a little to make sure they worked well. (speaking of no time, our stuff has almost all sold fast, maybe because I give some detail so folks know what their getting into, I think im pricing things reasonably to sell , hopefully) when we get time to list and if you want something, post might only be live for 1-3 days, so let us know, last time we had a lot we had several inquiries at once, mostly legit inquires, others probably questionable ( didnt leave us a valid PHONE number for example , etc, (not text, which we cant do here anyway-no decent cell reception here -and might not even respond if you do not leave us a PHONE number -and please try to answer our PHONE call, we normally call you very quickly-its first to commit gets the item- )
Other bits-the echo 225 takes some time to warm up ,started on first pull yesterday morning ,not much of an echo user we have had some 225s that would occasionally take 4-5 pulls even if usually 1-2 pulls, from reading the newer smaller echos seem to have a slightly unique design that sometimes causes that and the slow warm up maybe (I could be wrong tho) ,they do seem heavy duty and great tho, I can see why landscapers use them-more of a medium to small property tool I think- and I did have an extended family member in landscaping, partlly explaining why we have so much of this.) but in some reading on these that seems fairly normal. The echo blower started on 2nd pull yesterday morning.
The Honda is a 4 stroke -takes regular gas and is barely used, started on first pull a week ago these Honda 4 strokes usually start right away (1-3 pulls) does have some discoloration on the fuel tank, I havnt tried to remove the discoloration, sometimes you cant remove such discoloration) (factory carb magic marker inspection marks (I guess) still there for example, but the fuel lines look original and a little old, so ive include a new fuel line set up for you when you need it (im not big on fixing what isn't broken, but it is super easy to do on these every thing is right in the open on these (I Have another gx35, so im selling the nicer one, I also upgraded this one to the echo speed 400 feed type head, I should be able to give an original echomatic style (I think) head that these came with, not sure how well it works though (im just not familiar with the echomatics, but the speed feed type are great -they are cheap-chines knock offs are anyway - and you can modify them to run thicker line, but of course I cant recommend that. 4 strokes have less top rpm but more torque, and are quiet, and run cooler to I think. Speaking of larger line and more torque, did you how a gx35 can be used, just with line no blades , to wipe out entire blackberry Patches? -very small tree branches too, the torque does seem to help with this to me anyway , and make it look like a mulch pile by the time you are done, except for a few main stocks. if you modify the heads and run 155 line or just fixed line heads with 155 take out most of the main blackberry stocks too. You will still need to deal with-prob dig up -blackbaeery roots later and you do need to wear good safety gear -at least for your head and arms -tho, I can tell how if you want, easy not a secret really just took some experimenting.
Ps-if you want, bring your fuel mix with you so I can look at it and smell it make sure ok, I will warranty 1 machine per purchaser against major failure for 3 days. I have to see what your fuel mix is to warranty as too many people will try to run watery rusty fuel-iv seen them try and that will ruin an engine. The premix cans you buy at the store are great insurance- couple of buyers did just that - (although ive read those can have bad batches too, sigh, but its better than year old gas stored poorly that some folks will try to use, especially the poor gas thanks to where we live -thank you govner.) Pick up one of those premix cans on your way here if you want. (I will only warranty 1 machine per purchaser tho, if you buy more and they all fail we know its something in the mix on your end, not mine. )ps- you should also use something to deal with the ethanol in Ca fuel, I use stabil brand fuel treatment, and Lucas semi synthetic 2 stroke oil. Some people buy ethanol free fuel-i think the premix cans are that, convenient but to pricy for me when were using a fair amount of gas driven tools.
Im also just noticed this group for sale (our 3rd batch this year we are finally "right sizing" (down sizing) our tools) covers the power range pretty well, didnt plan it that way but maybe that works well for someone to save time and pick them all up.
ps-i usually do a things I need for trade part-right now I can use a 10k-15k winch cradle (with the hand bars) , preferably with a roller fairlead instead of the newer smooth ones, give you $35 take in value, about half of amazon price, problem with the amazon brands some of them come with crooked receiver bars, splatter bird poop welding etc. so an older used one thats straight even with rust works better for me. If you have a bad winch mounted to it and want to get rid of thats fine, can take it as is as we drop off metal at receyling sometimes anyway
