Handmade solid pine art doors made with antique elements and hardware, including the hinges. Originally used as closet doors, but could have a cabinet built around them or stack them horizontally on the wall for a unique headboard. They were first stained and then whitewashed with a thin white glaze, so they have more of a vintage "frosty" look and are not solid white. Among the antique elements are vintage cut glass door knobs, an old gear wheel, the music holder panel from an antique piano, and an antique table leg split in half THE HARD WAY. (Built a jig for the table saw and held breath while cutting.) Dozens of silver tacks radiate out from the gear and a glass piece to give a starry effect. The openings in the gear and piano panel allow air flow to prevent mildew.
They were a huge amount of work and I am sad to part with them, so I'm not giving them away. Only serious inquiries, please. They measure 20.25" wide by 84" tall and are made with solid 3/4" pine boards. I can meet in a public place close to my home for you to inspect them if you are seriously interested. No one else in the world will have doors like these. They belong in the home of an artist.
Please email if you feel they fit with your aesthetic and you can make something beautiful with them. $300, cash only.
