Vintage Baumritter Maple Drop Leaf Harvest Coffee Table 2535/268020 is a maple table with two drop leaves. This is a beautiful 1950s/60s-vintage table, made prior to Baumritter Corporation changing its name to Ethan Allen in 1972. It measures approximately 42” L x 31” W and stands about 14-1/2” H on cabriole-type legs. With both leaves down the tabletop is about 17” W; each leaf is about 7” W and mounted to the tabletop with 4 hinges to each leaf. A pivoting wooden stave locks each leaf into full-open, flush with the tabletop. (The staves pivot onto fixed wood wedges to hold them in place.) At 60 – 70 years old, the table is a testament to the quality of woodworking in that era. It is solid and sturdy, with only minor cosmetic imperfections, consistent with its age. It is available for local pick-up in San Rafael, cash, Venmo, or PayPal.
