Set of four (4) Solid Oak Windsor Chairs in exceptionally good 1981-vintage condition. They have a few scratches and scuff marks that are almost undistinguishable. These are branded with the ‘Pennsylvania House’ hallmark, and date-stamped ‘1981’ on the underside of the seat. These are a classic Windsor style dining chairs, large, wide and comfortable with their contoured seats. The rich medium brown finish is in excellent condition on solid oak hardwood. Frames are tight and wiggle free, the spindle back is reinforced with a traditional pair of extra spindles, the fiddleback. Exceptional craftsmanship is evident on this set, with their ornate turned spindles, legs, and spreaders. Chairs are about 40” H, the seat 22” W x 25” D, and the seats at 18” H. Similar Pennsylvania House chairs sell on-line in the $400-range per chair, a bargain here for the set of 4 chairs, available for local pick-up in San Rafael, cash, Venmo, or PayPal.
