Single IKEA ‘Glenn’ Counter Stool has been used but well-kept, exhibiting only minor abrasions from normal wear, apparent only in cross-lighting. White molded seat shell is polycarbonate plastic; frame is chrome-plated tubular steel. Stool would be stackable with like stools to 4-high; underside of seat has Polyethylene bumpers (to protect possible underlying seats.) Frame has set of 4 Polypropylene feet for floor protection. Stool form is by IKEA designer Marcus Arvonen and intended for use at bar about 35” H. (NOTE: While the white version in the counter height (26") is still available in some markets, the taller bar height versions (29") was discontinued by the IKEA several years ago.) Following are stool specs for this shorter one (approx.):
• Back Height: 35"
• Seat height: 26"
• Seat width: 14-1/2"
• Seat depth: 15-3/4"
• Frame Width: 19-1/2"
• Frame Depth: 19"
• Weight capacity: 220 lb.
It is imprinted with the IKEA logo and ‘Glenn’ on the underside edge of the seat, and the adhesive label affixed there, too. New retails on-line for about $125, bargain-priced here. It’s available for local pick-up in San Rafael, cash, Venmo, or PayPal.
